Licensing

FlexPDE version 5 is available in three license configurations.

• Evaluation - The Evaluation configuration is free.  It will run only problems which have been specially keyed by PDE Solutions Inc.  All problems will run in full-capability mode. (You can change any numeric item in a keyed demo problem without invalidating the key!)
   
• Student License - The Student configuration is free.  It will run all the test problems of the Demonstration version, plus any user-written problem which has five or fewer equations and uses no more than 100, 800 or 1800 mesh nodes (1D, 2D and 3D, respectively).  A vast number of meaningful problems of science and engineering can be addressed within these limits.  The student configuration supports 1D, 2D and 3D capability.
   
• Professional License - The Professional configuration unleashes the full power of FlexPDE version 5.  It has effectively unlimited mesh size, and unlimited number of simultaneous equations (subject to available computer resources).  The professional configuration can be licensed with 1D capability only, 1D+2D, or 1D+2D+3D power.
