The professional version of FlexPDE imposes no artificial limits on the complexity of your problem. The mesh size or number of equations may be limited by practical considerations of available computer resources.

You can purchase a Professional License for FlexPDE 5 online through our secure order processing system or by FAX using the links below.

Professional price includes installation CD, USB license device (dongle), hardcopy manuals and domestic shipping and handling.  International professional version customers add $45 for shipping and handling.

Capability Upgrades:

Owners of FlexPDE version 5 licenses can upgrade to higher capability simply by paying the difference in price of the new capability over the price of the existing license.

Version Upgrades:

Owners of FlexPDE version 4 licenses can upgrade to an equivalent Version 5 License for the following amounts.

Upgrade Price for Existing Machine Lock licenses includes upgrade to portable version.

License Methods:

Dongle - FlexPDE Version 5 Professional by default uses a portable hardware key (dongle) for USB (or parallel port by request).  FlexPDE can be run on any machine that has the dongle installed in an appropriate I/O port.

Software Key - On request, Professional configurations can be licensed in the form of a text key that locks the execution of FlexPDE to a specific computer CPU.  If you prefer a software license key, you must first download and install the software and record the computer ID from the sign-on screen or "Help | Register" screen. Include the computer ID on the license application form.  Your software key will be sent to you by Email. Copy this key to the FlexPDE installation directory (you may need administrator privileges to do this).

Network - FlexPDE Professional can be configured to run in a networked mode.  A single network accessible computer is configured with a network dongle and a license manager application.  Any other computer with network access can then run FlexPDE, up to a specified maximum number of simultaneous users. There is a $100 surcharge for the dongle.

Student - Student version licenses use a text key that can be moved from one machine to another, but may be used on only a single machine at a time.  Student licenses are free (Click here). 

Multiple Unit pricing:

Multiple unit pricing applies to units purchased at one time. For up to 10 licenses multiple unit pricing is determined by using an approximate 3/4 power law. Multiply the unit price by N^3/4.
