Weighting part in SPHERE1 coordination

Postby enviexpress on Sun Jun 07, 2015 10:07 pm

Does INTEGRAL contain a weighting part (r*r) in SPHERE1 coordination?

I guess INTEGRAL contains the r*r weighting in SPHERE1 coordination when I run the attached test. This file is from the forum and I modify it for test. Is it right? Few details about SPHERE 1D INTEGRAL and LINE_INTEGRAL are docummented in the help manual.

FlexPDE has spherical coordinates as one of the built-in options. See "Coordinates, SPHERE1" in the Help index. In this case the model is posed as a 1D problem in R. FlexPDE takes care of calculating as if in 3D.
