The way you do this will depend on the characteristics of your problem. If the nanowire is extremely small compared to the rest of your figure, you might be able to imbed a FEATURE. In this case, you can apply Natural or Value boundary conditions along the feature, but you cannot solve an independent PDE along the wire. You could imbed a separate region for the nanowire, in which case the mesh would become quite large, but you could select terms in the PDE to alter the behavior in the wire. |
