The "continuity equation" in fluid mechanics is merely a statement of the principle of conservation of mass.
As such, it can appear in many forms, depending on the other characteristics of the problem you wish to solve.
It appears as part of each of our example problems in "Samples | Steady_State | Fluids" and "Samples | Time_Dependent | Fluids".
Other manifestations are possible.

You need to be more specific about what application you have in mind.
