I am considering using FlexPDE to model the movement and fate of microbes, aquatic insects and fine debris in flowing surface water. I see a nice 2D example in the advertising for FlexPDE. Has anyone applied it to rivers, streams and lakes, and had good luck with 3D depictions over time?
