Dear Mr. Nelson,
I am wondering if you help me.
The attached file is a crack in the plate. The model is symetric.
when I use "feature" at the crack tip, meshes are coming out of the left wall of model. I mean, maximum velocity is not at the crack tip for the left part. Also, temperature distribution is not symetric. it seems there are two different heat source at the crack tip.

You have defined a second width, w1, for the left, but applied the velocity function that was derived for the width w. If you add another velocity function with w1 instead of w, and apply it to the feature on the left, it should work.
