is there anyone who manage to use Flexpde to simulate the rolling process? or Flexpde is not suit for solving this kind of problem? Thanks very much. |

Yes, I believe we have users simulating the rolling process, but we do not have access to their scripts. Perhaps one of them will respond to this post. |

What do you mean by rolling process? Are you talking about the process of forming a metal or plastic sheet by pressing it between rollers? |

I have worked only on the problems of transport of a strip over rollers. I've been impressed with FlexPDE's ability to handle nonlinear problems. So, you should be able to use it if you can find a reference that describes the relevant PDEs. |
