Auto-saving of script files

If I open a scipt, change the values of some constants, and run the script, this (new) version gets saved to disk. I'd rather save any changes to the script manually, rather than having it done automatically. You will have to save the script to a new name in order to save the old version of the file. Earlier versions (I'm not sure exactly when) used to save the script only when requested, but we had many complaints about loss of script file changes. So we decided that the current behavior was the best compromise.
