Hi

Is it possible to extract data that is dtored in a *.pg4 file for use in another plotting package?

The content of the .pg4 file is a record of the draw lists that FlexPDE uses to create the image. As such, it's very much a FlexPDE-specific file and doesn't really contain the data at all.

A better way is to use the CDF, TECPLOT, VTK or VTKLIN output formats, which are ASCII text files and specifically intended for export to other packages. The TRANSFER output file is a FlexPDE format, but it is also ASCII, and could be reformatted.

Another way is to use EXPORT with a format string to write the data to a text file. This technique can be used to export to Microsoft Excel or similar programs.
