Hello, I would like to simulate the conduction in a Metal/Insulator/Metal system. I did a little simulation of the field. But I have some problem with the current. You can show it on attached file. The conduction in this insulator is not ohmic (I is not equal to E/R) but it's a Poole Frenkel conduction : I=A*E*exp(B*E). In second files the field repartition is not good why? Could You help me? |

In you conduction problem, you have defined the equation wrong. 1) You defined J=vector(jx,jx) {second component is wrong}. This is why div(J)=0 didn't work. 2) Then you expanded the equation to dx(Jy)+dy(Jx)=0 {arguments are reversed } This equation doesn't work either. Simply define J=vector(Jx,Jy) and use Div(J)=0 and everything works.
