Dear Mr. Nelson in a timedependent analysis I'm interested at the final solution only that is approached if the temperature at a given point had reached a specified value. The latter could be succesfully implemented by an appropriate HALT (TEMP_POINT-TEMP_TARGET)>=0 condition in the TIME section. All this works fine but the graphical results from the PLOTS section for the last cycle (from the HALT condition) are not written into the *.pg5 file. The PLOT commands are saved only for the time (or cycle) steps explicitely defined in the FOR T=... part of the PLOTS section. Is there any undocumented specifier or other workaround? Im using the 32bit Linux 5.18 Version of FlexPDE. Thank you very much. |

This is an oversight in the implementation of the HALT control. We will need to add some kind of flag in the plot time specifier for plots to be created when a problem ends. We will look into this and post a corrected version.

The HALT control has been fixed to output graphical results from the PLOTS section. See www.pdesolutions.com/buglist5.html for a prerelease snapshot. |
