Hi, I'm doing a 3-D calculation with complex geometry. After calculation, I like to print out 2-D contour data at a certain plan, for example, x-y data on z=10, to input Tecplot program. Since the problem is 3-D, the output data always have x,y,z, and variable. Please help !! K.S. Im

The theory of our Tecplot output process is that we will send the entire problem mesh, and use the facilities of Tecplot to manipulate the plot data. Is there no way in Tecplot to plot on a cut plane? |

I'm not sure, exactly. It used to be control with a 3-D data. In addition, it is also possible to animate all plane views with a 3-D data. However, I can't manipulate any plane view with your 3-D data format. Did anybody has an experience? |

I plot lots of 2D cut plane in 3D data. It may depend what converting tools you use. I used GRIDCONV to convert my data. During the processing, it will ask you to generate 3d or 2d data. When you choose 2d data, like xy, then it will ask you what value for z, like z=10 or whatever. |
