The GUI is so imbedded in the structure of FlexPDE, we cannot eliminate it without significant work. You can run FlexPDE from a command line and use the -q (quiet) switch to force it to run in minimized non-interactive mode. This leaves merely the icon on the task bar. The -display switch is also active, so if there is a display you can send the icon to, you should be able to run from your terminal without graphics interaction. |
