Hi,
I would like to know if there is a way to export values of an evaluated function on a grid which is not regular (I would like to have more points in a subregion of my domain) for example on a table of points which I create.
I am using the 2.22a 3D version of Flex, but I think to upgrade to version 4.
thank you!

There is currently no facility to define irregular grids for export.

There are several things you can do:

1) use the "POINTS=<number>" control to increase the total number of table intervals to give the density you want in the restricted region.

2) use the "ON REGION <number>" or "ON REGION <name>" and "EXPORT" controls with a CONTOUR plot to select only the region of interest. You can also use "POINTS=" with this method.

3) use the TRANSFER or TECPLOT output forms to get the full mesh representation of your data (this format is much harder to manipulate externally, since it is presented on an unstructured triangular mesh).
