I am rather new to using flexpde and finite element software in general. I have been trying to produce a table of data that can be used in other programs to plot a function, etc. I have been using EXPORT and TABLE expressions, but so far, no success. If anyone as any suggestions for me I would appreciate them respectfully, mark | ||

You haven't said exactly how "no success" is manifested, so I can't guess what the problem is. The example files "export.pde", "export_format.pde" and "export_history.pde" in the "Samples | Misc" folder show several varieties of text output. Also read the Help section "Technical Notes | Exporting Data to Other Applications". Output is written to a file made up of the problem name and some modifiers. Alternatively, you can specify a file name. See "File 'String'" in Graphic Display Modifiers. | ||
