I am looking for an examples how to solve / model a surface acoustic wave (SAW) device in FlexPDE. In general it must be possible, but until now I don't find a solution that works.
Thanks for all ideas how to model such typ of device.

Andre

We don't have any literature in-house on SAW filters.
What do the equations look like?
Can you send me the theory and your trial scripts?

Can I do a acoustic impedance analysis
for a say a fluid filled acoustic horn
activated via a piezo?

You should be able to do this, but you will have to write a system of partial differential equations and boundary conditions appropriate to your application.
