Hi, I am plotting an contour painted plot of the temperature distribution. The default color for min temp is pink. Can I change the default color to say blue? If not what are my options? Thanks for your help. Nagarajan |

You can modify the color spectrum in the SELECT section by using SPECTRAL_COLORS or THERMAL_COLORS. The default is thermal colors. See the Help section "Problem Descriptor Reference : The Sections of a Descriptor : Select : Global Graphics Controls".

Thanks for your quick reply. SPECTRAL_COLORS just reverses the color plot. But I want the cooler areas to be blue and the hotter areas to be red - for marketing purposes. How do I do that? |

What you describe is the thermal color spectrum - the default. See attached PNG. You cannot manually choose color levels. You have the choices of thermal or spectral as mentioned.
