hi,
I'm trying to solve a set of time dependent pde's in 1 dimension (say 'x'). The problem has 5 variables. How can I generate a 3d plot with 'x' along one axis, time (t) along the second axis and the value of any of my variables along the third axis ? So, I want a 3d plot for the set (x,t,variable).

Thanks.

FlexPDE does not currently have facilities to plot functions of space and time as f(x,t).

You could pose the problem as a 2D system in (x,t) as we have done in the example problems
Spacetime1.pde and Spacetime2.pde in the "Samples |Misc" folder.

Otherwise, you will need to export the data and plot it with an external plot program.
