I start to use FlexPDE under Linux (kernel 2.6.x). FlexPDE shows a very good performance, the only problem is with the GUI. The menu bar and the drop-down menus all use very big font sizes and seems there is no way to adjust them. Also when start FlexPDE, the main window has a very bad position by default(some parts are out of the screen). I guess the FlexPDE GUI has been implemented using Qt. It would be nice if all the visual settings could be adjusted through a startup file (.ini) or if somewhere in the menu bar a "preference" dialog could be added. p.s: I use GNOME on Debian (the latest release). FlexPDE uses the default system font for menus, on the theory that this would make the menus consistent with other programs on your system. We do not see a font size problem on our Linux machines. Have you changed the system font size?

Robert, I use gnome on debian? It it the problem? I changed the system fonts but FlexPDE uses its own settings. Just a question is it possible to have a setting file for FlexPDE like .ini file and then let users to adjust their interface? |

I have not been able to reproduce your observed troubles. We installed Debian (kernel 2.4.27) and everything looks normal with FlexPDE 5.0.9. You must have something messed up in your system. |
