In the status window, I can get the number of nodes or cells used in whole domain. But I need more detailed information about the mesh or elements in the local domain. In a 3D model including several compartments, how the number of cells or nodes in each region (or compartment) can be achieved? | ||

There is no regional report of node numbers, but if you export data using the VTK, VTKLIN, TECPLOT, or TRANSFER formats, you will get a file with detailed mesh information. The mesh data in these files are segmented by material number (that is, all regions with the same material parameters are grouped together). Define a phony data item with different values in each region to guarantee region separation. You can control the minimum mesh density in a region using the MESH_SPACING commands.
