Hello, I have tried different ways to find 2D volume integral, but I fail to define integration region. Please, can you take a quick look, I guess I just need a little hint only... Well, one drawing is worth 7 pages of text. http://www.tinis.lv/faili/example.jpg http://www.tinis.lv/faili/difuzija.pde How to cut rod in N pieces, all of equal size, and then calculate integral in each of them, and write numerical values to file? Problem is, that I dont have defined regions, even more, that area is part of 2 other regions.. Hard to explain, I hope that JPG image will help you... Regards, Eduards Rens

You need to create individual REGIONS of the portions you want to integrate. There are no facilities for defining arbitrary integration domains by numerical coordinates. In the attached file, I have made individual regions of the "Segments". If you want to integrate over the outer portions, you'll have to do a similar thing to the portions of region 1 and add the integrals to those of the "segments".
