How do I specify the following boundry conditions:-

u(0)= u(L)= 0
du(0)/dz = du(L)/dz = 0

For a clamped beem with the following equations.

U: dr(Sr) + dz(Trz) + [Sr - St]/r = 0
W: dr(Trz) + dz(Sz) + Trz/r = 0

These appear to be straightforward VALUE and NATURAL boundary conditions.

1) See the User Guide section "Basic Usage | Setting Boundary Conditions",
2) Read the documentation of Natural Boundary Conditions (See the Help Index),
3) Look at the Examples in the "Samples | Steady_State | Stress" folder, especially "Fixplate.pde" and "Freeplate.pde" .
