Hello Mr. Nelson,

is there a possibility to control the mesh-refinement during adaptive regridding? I mean, can I control the number of nodes locally, or is there something like a minimal grid size?

Thanks
Kai

You can use the selector NODELIMIT to limit the maximum number of nodes during the regrid process.

NODELIMIT cannot be used to reduce the size if the initial mesh construction, which is dictated by NGRID, user density controls (i.e. MESH_DENSITY and MESH_SPACING), and domain boundary feature sizes.

If you want to increase the number of cells in the initial grid, use NGRID or the density controls mentioned above.
