Hi all, I'm trying to model a three phase short circuit in three conductors, how can I get the electromagnetic forces generated in the conductors?

That is a question that has to do more with the physical model that you want to make than flexpde can do.

I recommend starting with some of the examples in the "Samples" folder. They are also available online in the "Documentation" section.

Hi already find te way to get these forces by using a line integral over the boundary. thanks.
On the other I would like to know if I can modify the matrices of FlexPDE? some methods in structural optimization require to modify the stiffnes matrix.
Regards

You can't play with the coupling matrices. They are formed by symbolic generation of the Galerkin integrals of your stated PDE's. So if you want to change the behavior of your system, you have to do it by modifying the physics, not the numerics.
