Dr.Nelson:
I´m working with a resonator problem and I found a problem with the modal solver. Pease see the attched script, this is a simplified form of the problem where If I change the equation the lambda values are the same. In the real problem need to use lambda and lambda^2 simultaneously.

Dr. Nelson: I think that a new eigenfunction solver with support for nonlinear lambda expressions could be very useful. There are many problems where it is necessary for example a simple optical resonator model with nonperfect mirrors .
Thank you , Patricio.
